this morning my calendar provided me with two notifications.
first, today marks the last day that i am officially home with my babies; my maternity leave is over and it’s off to the races i go!
second, today is the day of my mother’s retirement gala dinner. no more work (ever!) for that little lady.
so, in honour of her, her career, and working mothers holding it down everywhere, i thought i’d share with you some of the important lessons my working momma (and mentor), taught me over the years.
