Do you remember that show Eyes Wide Shut?  The creepy one where we watched a married Tom & Nicole in very awkward sexual encounters?

And every now and then as a conservative mom “those books” come across your bedside table. Books filled with masks and alter egos . . . and then you and your vibrator go to bed with a headful of creativity.

Then the vibrator gets put under the old breast pads, unused “feather duster” and people magazines again and you shake the creases out of your “mom jeans” and head out to the family again.

Yah, that.

We all live a variety of different lives. Lives we hide from our kids, our partners, our families and businesses. We probably aren’t shoplifting christmas presents (or maybe we are) or having affairs, but we are keeping parts of “ourselves” to ourselves.

And that is why anonymously.

Sometimes we want to share things . . . and then we just don’t. Sometimes having a place where you can be your worst self, somewhere safe and away from your real life is exactly what you need. Sometimes you just want to write and not have people call you on it, question you or “help” you. Sometimes you just want to write.

So like those weird kinky bars that you find down alleyways . . . anonymous is a safe place for all our blogger honesty.

Our “other sides”

The ones people like you want to hear about . . . but the ones the advertisers won’t pay us for!
