I’ve had roughly 249 periods.

An episodic memory is a life event from your past that stands out. Like your first bike, kiss or period. I thought I would use that term to show how fancy and super smart I can seem.

Periods are a part of life we deal with or don’t. They are wanted or not. They are not meant to be memorable, but over the years some stand out.

It begins as a young lady. You’ve read a dog eared copy of Are you There God it’s Me Margaret, and you know who, at school, is a “woman now” and who isn’t. If you are the last in class, or the first to get” it”, you never forget which one you were.

Angila has been writing since 1979 when she received her first diary, filling it with boy crazy nonsense and girly drama. It wasn't until the 21st century that she discovered writing was a healing tool to release inner chaos. When Facebook was invented Angila, who is an attention whore reveled in receiving likes and shares. Comments started pouring in that she should write a book. Knowing her lack of follow through and commitment issues, Angila ignored the advice and chose to blog. Her life long dream of having fans came when wordpress announced she had one follower. Unlike the stalkers in her life this one felt acceptable and welcomed.
