If you’re short on time and in need of a laugh (who isn’t?), then you need to get a copy of The Big Book of Parenting Tweets edited by Kate Hall and Science of Parenthood. More importantly, it features our very own Sarah del Rio (@est1975blog) at her best. Here is a little sample of the wonderful:
“My son, to the stewardess: Thank you for the flight. I really enjoyed it.
My son, to me: Your breath smells.”
For those of you still wondering what a tweet is, it’s a status from Twitter, like the one above. And for those of you afraid to open yet another social media account or having trouble finding the funny stuff, this the book for you. A tweet can only be 140 characters, which is just enough time to read something before you are interrupted in the bathroom. The book is a collection of 300-plus tweet jokes, real-kid conversations and snarky one-liners from the most hilarious Twitter comedians to ever change a diaper.
And speaking of the bathroom, here’s another funny one from book and by one of the editors, Kate Hall.
“My 4YO just shut the bathroom door on me while I was inside and told me I was in jail. So I locked the door. I love this game.” @KateWhineHall
There are tweets from 34 people in the book and the book was compiled using an anonymous voting system, so you’re only getting the funniest stuff, not just tweets from the popular kids.
You can buy the Kindle or Paperback version on Amazon.com

Sarah, thanks so much for writing about our book. We’re so glad you enjoyed it!
I loved this book! I was wondering how they compiled all the tweets so that’s cool to know. For anyone wondering if they should buy this book, BUY IT NOW. It’s funny and gives you the best of The Twitter without having to actually Go On The Twitter so I think that pretty much seals the deal. At least for twitterphobes like me!
